This hotel has operated under three names. It began as Al Eiman Royal Hotel, was renamed Emaar Royal Hotel Al Madina in June 2022, and is currently operating as Emaar Royal Hotel since November 2023. Before November 2023, Emaar Royal Hotel was known as Emaar Royal Hotel Al Madina. Before June 2022, it was known as Al Eiman Royal Hotel.

Emaar Royal Hotel is located in the northern part of the central area, within 100 metres from the Prophet’s Mosque. Some rooms have views of Mount Uhud or the mosque.
The hotel’s location is particularly straightforward for access to the ladies’ gates 339 and 340, making it exceptionally convenient for female pilgrims and families. Gates 338 and 339 are both within immediate reach.
Couples rate the location 9.5 out of 10 — one of the strongest couple-specific scores of any hotel in central Madinah. Al-Baqi Cemetery is 0.9km away, the Hejaz Railway Museum is 10 minutes by car, and the airport is a 20-minute drive. Free parking is available on site subject to availability.
